Kettlebell Training

At Phyzyks, we are extremely proud of our Kettlebell Class Program. Robert Budd of BuddBells.com is the mastermind behind our fun and challenging classes. Our resident Kettlebell expert works tirelessly to make sure each class is balanced, safe, effective and fun. He seamlessly designs each class to include a warm up, a skill and a challenging workout. He also plans each week so that if you are one of our regular participants the cumulative effect of the week will be maximized. This class is recommended for students who have completed at least one Intro to Kettlebells class and two Foundations classes.
Kettlebell Park

This is our amazing outdoor kettlebell class. With the freedom of more space, this class focus is on drills that cannot be done indoors. Enjoy the fun of exercise in the great outdoors! Held at Cardiff Sports Park, 1661 Lake Dr., Encinitas. Map »
Intro class
Instructor – Carolyn
By appointment only. This class is a pre-requisite to our Kettlebells Training classes.
The focus is on learning basic skills and form, while being mindful of safety in the workout. Email for more info and availability.
Foundations
Instructor – Carolyn
This class focuses on the “basics” by using a systematic approach to evaluate each person’s postural alignment, structure, and movement. The workout is uniquely designed to strengthen core muscle competencies by teaching simple fitness skills and building strength through increasing intensity of the drills. This class is perfect for those renewing their commitment to fitness, or for the athlete looking to overcome specific roadblocks
Complete Core, Naked Warrior (CCNW)

You don’t have to be naked to take this class, but if you want to connect to your core and find that “6 pack”, this is for you! Using mat Pilates influences and body-weight strength training, this core conditioning class will surprise you with a new feeling of body connectedness and fluidity of movement.
