MY BACKGROUND:

My name is Brian. I’m a regular guy who cares about my own fitness and health. For the past year and a half I’ve been weight training in the gym 5 days a week, in addition to regular surfing, running and diving.

HOW I CAME TO FIND OUT ABOUT KETTLEBELL TRAINING:

A couple months ago, I noticed that after my neighbor had given birth to twin daughters, she had managed to lose a considerable amount of weight in a short amount of time. When I asked how she did it, she told me about kettlebells, and introduced me to Carloyn and Robert.

Carloyn and Robert were willing to let me drop in on a class, so I figured I’d check it out. I figured it was something I would ace without breaking a sweat, since I was a guy in the gym every morning who considered myself fit.

I was so wrong in my assumption that it’s comical. I took my first class with 3 incredibly athletic, toned women – all of whom performed 10 times better in the class than I did. And I was sore for 5 days after that class – the kind of sore I haven’t experienced since I first started working out 15 years ago.

And right then and there, I learned about what I had been missing from the gym and just how out of shape this “in-shape” guy actually was! Since then, I quit the gym and I now enjoying a far superior workout with kettlebell training.

Kasey

This is Kasey and her beautiful daughter, Thalia. Kasey is an avid kettlebell class participant. About 13 months ago, she was surprised and excited to hear she was pregnant! After checking with her doctor she was cleared to continue exercising with kettlebells. Today, four months after giving birth to her beautiful daughter, she has achieved her pre-pregnancy weight. We were so impressed with her results we had to share them with you!

When we asked Kasey how she felt about her achievement, she said, “I owe it all to kettlebells.” We know that it truly comes from her dedication and effort, but the kettlebells really accelerated her results. Actually, Kasey looks even leaner now than before. “It wasn’t always easy but the PHYZYKS coaches kept me motivated and on track. I love the classes, especially the park class. I can work out with my husband Bret, with Thalia by our side.”

Phyllis

Carolyn writes:

This amazing lady started working with me at the suggestion of one of my other wonderful clients. She had sadly been diagnosed with a herniated disc. When I met Phyllis she was in a lot of pain. She explained to me that her daughter (who is now a doctor) recommended she try exercise therapy and avoid surgery at all cost. At our first appointment I could see how much pain she had been living with. I have suffered from back pain myself but nothing like this. I prescribed a series of exercises and Phyllis got a small amount of relief. She worked diligently on the exercises and the next week we added more. She was alway so receptive and truly worked hard , she was motivated because she could see that if the exercises could give her some relief directly, then with time and practice, eventually she would reduce the pain completely.

This is what Phyllis had to say:

“Carolyn’s contagious optimism gave me the necessary hope that helped my avoid lower back surgery. Her ability t diagnose the problem and guide me through specific exercises decreased my discomfort right away. With less pain I was able to gain strength by following the exercises she prescribed and prevent a recurrence. I am now able to use the exercise to strengthen and relieve muscle tension.
